Asymmetry can be beautiful too…

Can one really categorise everything into right and wrong?

Can one tell what is the definition of a perfect human?

If you think about it, every individual is a piece of art. Different, crazy, weird, decent, classy, there are endless forms of art, you can paint your own form. Unique but perfect and complete in its own way.

If it was at all possible to define art, to limit art, will it still be ART anymore?

We humans have a tendency to find symmetrical things pleasant. Imperfections are seen as flaws but are they really the same?

Asymmetry can be beautiful too. Every asymmetry has its own perfect amount of symmetry hidden in it. It is just a matter of perception

Smile

We spend so much time and energy in trying to analyse what is going wrong. We often sit to introspect in order to find out what is it that is making us loose our smiles, what is it that is actually hurting us deep inside and then spend a lot more time hovering over what we find.

Let us just pause and spend some time remembering what makes us smile. It is good to know what is bothering you but never forget to cherish what is making you smile because this sweet little five letter word holds a lot more than just being an expression.

Scrupulous

Your present is the cumulative consequence of all your past decisions.

Similarly, the cumulative effect of the attention to details you have been paying in your journey is what is going to form a major part of your accomplishments tomorrow.

Here is a small piece of my art trying to capture the random thoughts racing through my mind, on a small piece of paper.

It is strange how these random strokes of pen if put together can lead to such a beautiful piece of work

The science behind Rangoli

Cymatics

If you put sand on a metal plate and provide it with vibrations at certain frequency, geometric patterns are formed.

There are believed to be calming effects of a rangoli at the entrance of a house.

It is supposed to manifest into brainwaves (vibrations) in the visitor’s mind, putting him at ease.

Lets start the festive season with this simple yet bright rangoli painted with permanent colours to stay for throughout the year

Do you experiment?

Do you experiment??? Have you experimented with personalities? Have you experimented with what you want to be?

There is one delivery from “Greys’s Anatomy’ which really compelled me to pause Netflix and think. And trust me, that is something! It goes like this: “Do you know who you are? Do you understand what has happened to you? Do you want to live this way?”

We just keep living the way we are supposed to, but what about the way WE WANT TO BE? Have you ever even thought if the way you are being asked to be by the society aligns with the way you want to be? Do you even know what you wanted to be or want to be?

If your adaptability is unmatched, you are Mystique. You have experimented with personalities, you know who to be to get what you want. You are a Survivor.

I think it is important to have Mystique

Why not learn to say YES?

Why is it that we are at every point of life now-a-days taught to say ‘No’?

Why are we not reminded to say Yes. One side the world is becoming competitive in what not sphere of life and work and simultaneously on the other end, the world is losing its humanity, its humbleness. Its very nature of a collective being is getting compromised day by day in this individualistic society we are becoming.

So, I, have a very simple message to whosoever is reading this- Learn to say Yes. Yes to not just your friends, but even to a stranger.  Who knows you may bring a smile on someones face. Also, learn to say yes in your work area too. Even if they are competitors, if you are ready to take up an extra work, you are not just building your goodwill but also you are taking one step forward in your development. .

Mandala

Mandala word has its origin in Sanskrit. It literally means a circle.

It is supposed to be a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is in the form of a square enclosing a circle with four gates.

However, in common use Mandala has now also become a term for any geometric figure that represents a cosmos.

This is my own Mandala which i drew on a wall-

Representing a radial balance and a free flow of my thoughts in the form of patterns, this is one piece very special to me.

Do you Dream?

It is good and it is important to stay in the present.

But, what is equally important is to have dreams, have imaginations and have wishes for future. It is important to periodically sit and analyse the future that your present is leading you to

Stay in the present, enjoy your today but never forget to Dream
